Alter Weinhof
Over 30 years ago, we, the Krämer family, fulfilled our dream of owning a winery by purchasing a former hotel in Erden. The calling to be winemakers was instilled in both of us from birth, and it has also been passed down to our daughter Lydia, who has since joined the family business.
Today, we cultivate 3 hectares of vineyards along the beautiful Middle Moselle in Erden, including the renowned Erdener Treppchen vineyard.
We take pride in the positive development of our winery. For the past seven years, our entire estate has been managed organically and biodynamically.
In line with our motto, "Naturalness in the glass," we created our unfiltered and unsulfured wine collection, the *Lydia* line.
The unique terroir of the Middle Moselle, characterized by gray and red slate, is beautifully expressed through our natural winemaking process. This results in robust, mineral-driven wines that are typical of the Moselle region.
